Amid the complicated developments of the maritime disputes in the East Sea (South China Sea), ensuring maritime safety and security serves an important role. Meanwhile, in response to the striking development of the 4th Industrial Revolution, countries around the world have promoted applying modern technologies to the modernization of the military in general and the naval force in particular.
These situations have posed considerable challenges to education and training tasks, as well as the development of forces on duty at sea.
As reported, the conference was held in English in line with the standards of an international scientific conference.
During the conference, delegates expressed their opinions on the significance of maritime security in the East Sea, and the role of the naval and relevant forces in maintaining maritime security in the East Sea.
The event also offered a chance for the academy’s instructors, officers and cadets to exchange and share their experience and views on maintaining maritime security and propose measures to deal with challenges.
Moreover, it also contributed to strengthening mutual understanding between instructors and cadets, the academy and other military units, as well as enhancing the quality of education, training, and scientific research, meeting the requirements of the academy in the new development period.
