The contest aims to promote reading habit in the military. |
Particularly, the contest is held for young officers and troops in the People’s Army of Vietnam.
Contestants can select one of the two topics, namely sharing a book that they love/ a book that changed their lives, and talking about effective reading methods and their impacts on their studies, work, and personal skills.
Along with this, they must draw up a plan to encourage others to read more if they are selected as a reading culture ambassador.
Participants can submit their answers to the organizer by writing an essay (under 10,000 words) or making a video or audio clip.
The contest consists of two rounds. The preliminary round starts from May to the end of August, and the final is held from September 15 to October 15 at the Military Library.
The awarding ceremony is scheduled to take place in October of 2021.
