PAN’s delegation concludes Laos visit
PANO - A delegation of the Vietnamese People’s Army Newspaper (VPAN), led by its Editor-in-Chief, Major General Pham Van Huan, on May 9 concluded the visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

During the five-day visit, the guests worked with the Lao People’s Army Newspaper (LPAN) on regional and international situations of common concern and shared their journalism skills. The two sides also agreed to continue cooperating in training reporters and editors, exchanging experience in managing journalism work and writing articles to foil hostile forces' “peaceful evolution” plot and effectively disseminating the 70th founding anniversary of the Lao People’s Army in 2019.
The Vietnamese delegation paid a visit to leaders of the General Department of Politics of the Lao People’s Army. The hosts and the guests exchanged the outcomes of the meeting between the VPAN and LPAN, press situation, as well as press agencies’ combat against plots of hostile forces.
On the occasion, VPAN’s delegation visited the site in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh in Khammouane’s Nongbok district, Laos’ military units, Unitel (the Vietnamese military-run Telecommunications Group Viettel’s affiliation in Laos), and the branch of the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade in Vientiane.
