On August 26, Brigade 172 of Naval Region 3 handed over a house of comradeship to the family of non-commissioned Naval Lieutenant Bui Van Minh, a missile operator on Ship 361 of the brigade’s Flotilla 131.
Minh is the breadwinner of his family as his wife is a contracted teacher at a kindergarten and their children are still young. They had lived in a downgraded house.
After four months of construction, the 60sq.m house was completed at a cost extracted from the charity fund of the High Command of the Vietnam People’s Navy and by the beneficiary’s family.
At the handover ceremony, the brigade’s leadership and local authorities granted some necessities to the recipient.
Previously on August 23, the Naval Region 3 unveiled and presented a gratitude house to the family of Naval Lieutenant Le Huu Dung from the Technical Station in the region’s Brigade 680.
