The exercise aimed to raise naval troops’ competence in dealing with oil spill incidents at sea.
During the exercise, participating troops were equipped with legal documents on oil spill response; and the operation and use of equipment to deal with oil spills, and ways to zone off and collect oil on the river and at sea, to name but a few.
