Naval Region 4’s Tet gifts to troops and islanders in Truong Sa island district
PANO – Military delegations of Naval Region 4 of the Vietnam People’s Navy on December 20 left Khanh Hoa province to visit and present gifts to troops and islanders in Truong Sa island district of the central province.

The province’s leaders, representatives of the provincial agencies and units, Naval Region 4, and reporters from press agencies across the country attended a see-off ceremony.
Addressing the ceremony, Nguyen Tat Tai, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, sent the mainland people’s sentiment to troops and people in Truong Sa, wishing them a safe, joyful, and economical Tet (Lunar New Year).
According to Colonel Nguyen Cong Son, the naval region’s Deputy Commissar, around 500 tons of supplies will be transported to serve those in Truong Sa island district during Tet holidays.
Showing deep gratitude to the Party, State, Army, local authorities, and people across the country for their concern, Colonel Bui Dinh Duong, Chairman of Truong Sa district’s People’s Committee, promised that troops and people in the district will unite and strive to firmly defend sacred national sovereignty over seas and islands.
