Naval Region 3 offers Tet gifts to island troops and people
PANO – A delegation of the Naval Region 3 Command, led by its Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff Senior Colonel Vu Dinh Hien, visited and offered Tet gifts to troops and people in Con Co District (Quang Tri province) and Ly Son District (Quang Ngai province) from January 25 to 27.
During the visits, the delegation inspected combat readiness at Radar Stations 540 and 550 of Regiment 351 of Naval Region 3.

Speaking to the units’ troops, Senior Colonel Hien applauded their efforts and achievements over the past time, and asked them to continue maintaining combat readiness to promptly deal with unexpected situations, especially during the ongoing 13th National Party Congress and the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) festival.
At the meetings with the authorities of the two island districts, Senior Colonel Hien congratulated the localities for their achievements in developing socio-economy and ensuring security-defense missions over the past time.
He believed that the localities will continue bringing into play the civilian-military solidarity in the time to come.
On the occasion, the delegation handed over 1.5 tonnes of goods, including essential commodities and Tet gifts, to the island troops and people.
