MR1 inspects combat readiness ensuring security for 14th National Party Congress

Gen. Manh inspects communication assurance for handling combat readiness situations in safeguarding the 14th National Party Congress at Defensive Area Command Region 3-Song Cong.

During the inspection, the delegation directly conducted on-site checks and listened to reports on the unit’s performance of combat readiness tasks. They checked the unit’s grasping of local security, political situation, and social order and safety; personnel strength maintenance; results of rehearsals of combat readiness plans; system of combat readiness documents and plans; Party and political work in carrying out the task of safeguarding the 14th National Party Congress. They also inspected the unit’s exercise on combat readiness, assessed troops’ awareness and responsibility, and maintenance of logistical and technical supplies for combat readiness missions.

In his concluding speech, Major General Tran Xuan Manh asked the unit’s Party Committee and Chain-of-Command to continue to strictly observe combat readiness duty regulations; pro-actively keep a close watch on situational developments; and strengthen close coordination with local functional forces to promptly detect and effectively handle contingencies from the grassroots level.

Gen. Manh emphasized the requirement to absolutely avoid passivity or surprise, especially during the 14th National Party Congress, thereby maintaining political stability, social order and safety, contributing to the overall success of the Congress.

Earlier, Gen. Manh inspected the combat readiness work for safeguarding the 14th National Party Congress at the Military Command of Van Xuan ward, Thai Nguyen province.
