More military Youth Union organizations hold congresses
PANO – The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organization of Division 363 of the Air Defense Air Force Service opened its eighth congress on May 31 as a benchmark congress for other similar events in the whole service.
At the congress, delegates reviewed the Youth Union organization's activities and youth movements in the previous term. Over the past five years, Youth Union members of the division maintained strong political stance, upheld the spirit of self-reliance, self-strengthening, unity and discipline in overcoming difficulties to fulfill all assigned tasks.
In the next term, the youth union movements will focus on improving training quality and mastery of new weapons and equipment, contributing to enhancing the building of regularity, disciplinary observance and ensuring training safety.
* The same day, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organization of Division 9 of Army Corps 4 held its 12th congress, reviewing the Youth Union organization's activities and youth movements in the 2012-2017 term.
Accordingly, more than 5,000 hours of education was held for the unit’s Youth Union members, raising hundreds of millions of VND to help policy families, and build four “VND-100” houses, worth more than VND 260 million in total, to name but a few.
Participants pointed out the shortcomings, causes and lessons learnt in implementing Youth Union activities, and then worked out orientations and tasks for the Youth Union organization’s activities and youth movements in the next five years.
* Regiment 98 of Division 316 of Military Region 2 also held its youth union congress recently to review their Youth Union work and youth movements in the 2012-2017 tenure and map out tasks for the next five-year tenure.
