MND works with MoET
PANO - Senior Lieutenant General Ngo Minh Tien, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, worked with the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) on August 24 to review the 10-year implementation of the resolution issued at the eighth plenary session of the 11th Party Central Committee on the national defense strategy in the new situation.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Van Phuc and representatives of MoET agencies.

At the working session, General Tien spoke highly of MoET’s outcomes in implementing the resolution over the past ten years, stressing that these contribute to reinforcing and strengthening defense-security, firmly protecting national independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, maintaining political stablility, creating peaceful environment for the socialist-oriented socio-economic development.
Over the past time, leaders of MoET organs and schools have embraced contents of the resolution, built a concrete action plan in line with appropriate measures of implementation, contributing to raising awareness of Party members and staff of key targets, missions and measures in the national protection and defense cause.

The MoET has collaborated with relevant ministries and sectors to build legal documents related to defense-security, education and training, military recruitment, and so on.
Speaking at the session, General Tien affirmed that the MoET’s outcomes contributed to reinforcing and strengthening defense-security, firmly protecting the national independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He hoped that the MoET will continue to embrace contents of the resolution, renew training programs, and enhance international cooperation in the time to come.
