According to a report from the General Department of State Reserves, local Departments of State Reserves have already completed delivering the first phase of rice supplies to those affected.

Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, and Quang Nam provinces received 1,000 tons of rice each.

The departments are striving to finish the second phase, providing an additional 6,500 tons of rice.

High-speed canoes, life-saving tents, buoys, and rafts have also been allocated to affected areas.
