In acknowledgement of the units’ task performance in 2020, especially in the prevention of illegal border crossings and COVID-19 prevention and control, General Chien asked them to continue grasping regional situations while closely coordinating with relevant forces and local authorities to implement military and defense missions and be ready to deal with all unexpected situations
In addition, they should strictly maintain combat readiness, especially ahead of the 13th National Party Congress and Tet holiday 2021.

More importantly, the Lang Son provincial Border Guard should enhance patrols and manage national border security in order to prevent illegal border crossings and prevent and control COVID-19, while ensuring political security and social order, and a happy and safe Tet for troops and locals.
On this occasion, on behalf of the Central Military Commission (CMC) and MND, General Chien presented gifts and extended Tet greetings to the troops and local people.

General Nam hailed the units’ achievements in 2020 and requested them to overcome difficulties to fulfill all assigned missions. In the coming time, the units should improve the quality of military training and ensure combat readiness before, during and after the 13th National Party Congress and Tet 2021.
General Nam offered Tet gifts to troops of the units and wished them a happy Tet.

The Deputy Minister urged the units to raise their responsibility in fulfilling assigned missions, strictly controlling border areas, and ensuring a happy and safe Tet for their troops.
As the 2021 Tet festival is coming, General Luong handed over Tet gifts to forces on duty in Tay Ninh border areas.
