MND delegation checks storm consequence mitigation

PANO - Delegation No.3 of the Ministry of National Defense led by Second-in-command of the General Department of Logistics Major General Ha Nhu Loi checked local units’ task performance of overcoming the consequences of the circulation of Typhoon Yagi, the third storm hit Vietnam, in localities in the Military Region 3.

The delegation directly inspected Regiment 50, Hai Phong city’s Military Command and Brigade 126 of the Naval Service.

Accordingly, the inspected units have well ensured combat readiness and smooth communications, while educating and encouraging troops taking part in flood prevention and control. The units’ chains-of-command have also well implemented mass mobilization work and policies for those who participate in the task and their relatives.

Addressing the inspection, Major General Ha Nhu Loi, on behalf of the delegation, hailed the units’ preparation work of MR3 and units stationed in the areas in response to the flood, while sharing difficulties with the troops.

He requested them to strictly ensure combat readiness and adjust plans for the flood prevention and control, and closely work with each other to better fulfill assigned tasks.
