At the conference, delegates agreed that military science and technology work has been comprehensively and synchronously implemented in close alignment with the resolutions of the Party, the Central Military Commission, and directives from the Ministry of National Defense. The direction and management work has seen innovation, with numerous military scientific activities held successfully. Obstacles and challenges have been promptly addressed, accelerating the progress of key scientific and technological programs, projects, and tasks.

Concluding the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh emphasized the need to complete regulatory frameworks and provide clear guidelines for implementing strategic and foundational technology research and development tasks. The Ministry of National Defense also aims to strengthen international cooperation and technology transfer.

The Department of Finance under the Ministry of National Defense was assigned to guide units in implementing newly-issued financial mechanisms and to draft a plan for developing strategic digital technology enterprises within the Ministry of National Defense.

Other relevant units are required to vigorously implement science and technology projects and programs for the development of strategic weapons and technical equipment products for the 2025-2030 period, in accordance with the Ministry’s approved directions. Priority is also placed on finalizing and reviewing scientific research programs and projects at both ministerial and national levels.
