Military Zone 7 meets village patriarchs and heads

PANO – Military Zone 7 Command on December 23^rd held a get-together with charismatic representatives of the ethnic minority groups in Binh Phuoc province.

Addressing the meeting, Major General Nguyen Minh Hoang, the command’s Deputy Commissar hailed the delegates’ contributions and stressed that village patriarchs and heads have become the engine to step up the realization of the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies in the ethnic minority groups.

At present, Binh Phuoc province has 347 charismatic ethnic minority people who have been active in mobilizing local people to strictly implement Party’s guidelines and State’s policies, build cultural lifestyles in their residential areas, preserve and promote traditional cultural values of the ethnic groups.

The figures also encouraged people to contribute to the new-style rural area building program, and maintain political security, and public order.
