The 2025 Military Women’s Sports Festival is a meaningful activity celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – 2025). The festival also contributes to promoting the implementation of the Culture Development Strategy toward 2030 within the Vietnam People’s Army, and supports the movement "The whole military exercises following Uncle Ho’s example."
In his opening remarks, General Vinh emphasized that in recent years, women's affairs and the women’s movement in the military have achieved significant progress and left a positive impact. Nearly 70% of women union members in the military regularly participate in at least one sport, with more than 1,000 sports clubs and groups active within grassroots women’s unions.
