Accordingly, the academy’s Party committees and chains-of-command at all levels have paid much attention to monitoring the emulation movement and reward work. Many initiatives and good models were successfully applied to training and education, contributing to supporting the school’s learners and instructors to fulfill their assigned tasks.

Speaking at the event, General Giang applauded the academy for its achieved results and pointed out shortcomings in its emulation movement.
In addition, he urged the school to continue embracing higher levels’ directives on military and defense missions, promoting emulation movements, and striving to overcome hardships to meet the task requirements in the current context. He noted that the academy’s leadership should map out a clear master plan to enhance the roles of commanders and relevant organizations at all levels in the emulation movement and rewards work while increasing the number of outstanding examples among the troops.
General Giang required the academy’s leadership to attach special importance to fulfilling the set targets in 2020 and the years ahead with a focus on the preparations for the organization of the Party congresses at all levels towards the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Reportedly, the head organs of the GDP embraced all directives and instructions of higher levels while providing timely advice to the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to perform Party and political tasks in the whole military. The political and ideological education has shown much improvement in comparison to the achieved outcomes in the previous year, particularly in implementing emulation movements, maintaining military discipline and regulations, and so on.
During the meeting, participants pointed out the causes for shortcomings and discussed approaches to better performing their tasks in the time to come.
Speaking at the event, General Cuong praised the achievements of the GDP’s head organs and noted that they should closely observe their major tasks and follow all situations, contributing to building strong Party organizations and comprehensively strong units.
On this occasion, the leadership of the Ministry of National Defense and the Party Committee of the head organs of the GDP presented certificates of merit to outstanding individuals and groups in the 2019 emulation movement.
