* The Vietnam Institute of Military History under the Ministry of National Defense held an incense offering ceremony at the historical relic site dedicated to late President Ho Chi Minh K9.

Speaking at the event, General Nhien reported that during 40 years of construction and development, the Vietnam Institute of Military History has completed nearly 300 military history and war review-related projects as well as directed the sector to implement around 3,000 research projects and published 186 works.

In 2021, the institute gave recommendations to higher levels to instruct the military to successfully carry out military history-related tasks. Attentively, with its suggestions, six scientific seminars at the nation- and ministry-levels were organized successfully.
For its recorded outstanding achievements, the institute and its individuals were honored with many noble awards from the Party, the State, the National Defense Minister, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, and the Kingdom of Cambodia.

* On the same day, the Military Region 4 (MR4) Command offered incense and flowers in tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs at the Monument Uncle Ho and the Armed Forces of Military Region 4, the MR4 Museum, and Vinh city's War Cemetery.

At the ceremony, the MR4 Command informed delegates about the results gained by MR4 in 2021. Notably, the command promoted the qualities of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, effectively implemented defense-military missions, contributed to building a firm all people’s national defense posture associated with the people’s security posture.

Meanwhile, the command closely worked with local authorities and party committees at all levels to conduct COVID-19 prevention and control measures, as well as natural disasters prevention and response, to name but a few.
