During the ceremony, troops planted more than 4,300 trees out of a total of 15,700 trees planned for planting in 2025. As a result, in the 2021-2025 period, units under the Hanoi Capital Command have mobilized 2,000 working days and more than VND 830 million to plant nearly 70,000 trees. Notably, Division 301 planted around 17,700 trees while Battalion 544 planted 19,600 trees.

* On the same day, the Military Logistics Academy held a ceremony to launch the tree-planting festival.

Over the past years, tree planting has become an emulation movement spreading throughout the academy. After the launch ceremony, officers, instructors, cadets, soldiers and employees of the academy and youth union members from twinned units planted trees surrounding the academy.

As planned, in 2025, the academy will plant 10,500 trees of different types.

* The Da Nang city Border Guard Command kicked off the tree-planting festival on February 7 in Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city.

In response to the tree-planting festival and the project to plant one billion trees in the 2021-2025 period launched by the Prime Minister, over the past years, agencies and units under the city’s border guards have actively and pro-actively expanded tree-planting areas in their unit’s barracks.

After the ceremony, more than 100 troops from the city Border Guard Command planted over 2,000 fruit and timber trees.
