On the first day of the festival, the unit planted nearly 90,000 trees of different types.

* The MR4 Command kicked off the tree-planting festival at the Kim Lien special national relic site in Nam Dam district, Nghe An province, and offered incense and flowers in tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh.

Division 324 launched the tree-planting festival and planted thousands of trees of different types surrounding its barracks.

As planned, agencies and units under MR4 will plant 17,000 fruit trees and 120,800 trees for timber and shade.

* Agencies and units of Naval Region 3 kicked off the tree-planting festival and planted 137 fruit trees, 1,478 shade and timber trees, 260 ornamental plants, and took care of flower and grass carpets in their barracks.
