At the event, authorized by the State President, Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc, Commander of Military Region 5, handed over the First-class Fatherland Protection Order to individuals for their achievements during task performance.
* For the past five years, armed forces in Khanh Hoa province have effectively carried out the “Determined-to-win” emulation movement, contributing to building strong units.
Annually, over 91% of Party organizations and more than 93.5% of Party members are classified as “Well fulfilling tasks” and better. Local units have also completed all recruitment drives and held exercises as scheduled.

At the same time, local armed forces have mobilized over 3,000 participating troops to support natural disaster-hit victims, and repair more than 500km of roads and irrigation systems.
At the congress, the provincial People’s Committee presented certificates of merit to 20 collectives and 20 individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the emulation movement in the 2019-2024 period.

* Meanwhile, over the past time, thanks to the effective implementation of contents and targets of the “Determined-to-win” emulation movement, Military Region 5’s Department of Technical Services has successfully accomplished military and defense tasks. The unit has paid due attention to strengthening troops’ political stance and discipline observance, promoting quality of technical services to meet task requirements, raising troops’ living standards, and creating green, clean, and beautiful barracks.
