Reportedly, MR9’s Party Committee and Command strictly grasped situations and made recommendations to the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to build suitable policies. It also implemented resolutions and directives, especially the orders of the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army on military and defense work, worked with local authorities to promote synergy of the whole political system so as to effectively conduct defense and military tasks, and build a firm provincial defensive area.

In addition, MR9’s affiliated units regularly inspected and adjusted documents, organized training and ensured combat readiness, while firmly protecting national sovereignty, and addressing any arising cases, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety, paving the way to local socio-economic development.
“Determined-to-win” movement motivated troops to undertake and complete all assigned tasks, especially challenging missions, such as COVID-19 prevention and control, search and rescue operations, contributing to helping local people stabilize their life. The MR9 troops also focused on boosting emulation movements in conducting training and combat readiness tasks, especially the implementation of the Central Military Commission’s Resolution No.1659-NQ/QUTW, issued on December 20, 2022, and Resolution No.797-NQ/DU, issued on March 29, 2023 of MR9’s Party Committee on improving training quality during the 2023-2030 period and the following years.

Reportedly, leaders at all levels of the MR9 took many measures in order to raise the synergy of armed forces. Accordingly, they ensured personnel work to meet task requirements; meanwhile, recruitment was also conducted with good quality and as regulated, among others.
Besides, units under MR9 also carried out Party and political work with practical outcomes, along with mass mobilization work, and logistics supply and technical services, to name but a few, contributing to raising the military region’s synergy and combat readiness, meeting all requirements in the cause of national protection in the current context.
Furthermore, MR9 also strictly implemented all resolutions, directives, and instructions of the high levels on emulation and commendation work so as to build the comprehensively-strong, “typical and exemplary” unit and the truly healthy and strong Party organization. It also renovated contents and forms of emulation movements, multiplied outstanding models, and ensured emulation and commendation work, while educating troops to raise their awareness of new tricks and plots of hostile forces, and encouraging them to overcome difficulties to accomplish all assigned missions.
At the same time, MR9 also closely coordinated with local authorities to be ready in any circumstances, contributing to building a comprehensively-strong, “typical and exemplary” unit, deserving the trust of the local authorities and people in the current context.
