MND holds seminar on innovation, digital transformation and digital economy
PANO - The Ministry of National Defense (MND) held a seminar titled “Innovation, digital transformation, and digital economy development" on July 7 in Da Nang to propose breakthrough solutions to enhance the competitiveness of military units and enterprises.

In his speech, Maj. Gen. Dao Minh Dao stated that digital transformation and digital economy development are not only inevitable trends, but also important tasks contributing to the building of a modern and strong military.
The seminar aimed to create an opportunity to share knowledge, practical experience, and successful digital economy development models, contributing to raising awareness of the role, importance, and urgency of digital transformation in economic development; and promptly support military units and enterprises in grasping trends in digital technology and new digital applications, while offering ideas and strategic orientations for developing a digital economy suitable for specific characteristics of each sector and field.
At the event, delegates listened to leading experts with experience in innovation, digital transformation, and digital economy development sharing insights into three main topics, namely leadership in the AI era; building digital transformation and a sustainable foundation for military enterprises in developing the digital economy; and sharing experience and digital economy models from military enterprises.

Delegates also engaged in open discussions, candidly exchanging views and clarifying issues related to innovation, digital transformation, and the digital economy. They explored several solutions and typical digital economy models implemented by MND’s pioneering military enterprises, thereby gaining valuable lessons to apply in practice.
