According to the report presented at the congress, Viettel has consistently exceeded its targets and tasks over the past five years. The group's revenue and profit have seen continuous growth, with the total revenue exceeding VND 775 trillion and pre-tax profit reaching nearly VND 204 trillion. Viettel's mobile services have maintained the number one market share in Vietnam. The group has rapidly transitioned from providing traditional telecommunications services to digital telecommunications services, offering products, such as TV360, Cloud, Big Data, and IoT on 4G and 5G platforms. Internationally, Viettel holds the number one mobile market share in 7 out of 10 markets where it operates. In 2023 alone, international revenue grew by 20.5 percent to USD 3.59 billion, with USD 392.5 million in cash flow back to Vietnam.

In the field of IT solutions and digital services, Viettel has actively supported the Government in building a “digital government.” Viettel's digital solutions have been widely implemented in various sectors, such as urban management, healthcare, education, and finance, and more, gradually contributing to development of the society.

In the cybersecurity sector, Viettel has invested in developing high-quality human resources and using advanced solutions and tools to protect Vietnam’s sovereignty in cyberspace. Notably, at the Pwn2Own Toronto competition 2023, the world’s largest and most prestigious hacking competition, Viettel’s cybersecurity experts won the championship.

In the field of research and production, Viettel engineers have successfully developed numerous high-tech military products for the armed forces, directly enhancing national defense capabilities. Viettel's logistics and e-commerce units and sports teams have also achieved significant successes. The The Cong - Viettel Football Club won the V-league in 2020, the U21 Viettel team won the national championship in 2021, and the U17 Viettel team won the national championship in 2023.

In his address, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong praised Viettel's outstanding achievements in the “Determined-to-win” emulation movement. Over the past 35 years, Viettel's staff, employees, and laborers have continuously mastered science and technology and been innovative, making Viettel a leading enterprise in Vietnam. Viettel is currently the number one digital telecommunications provider in Vietnam, leading in data storage and cloud computing. It is a pioneer in investing abroad, operating in 10 countries across three continents with around 55 million customers, contributing to enhancing the group’s brand value and Vietnam’s international position.

Viettel has initially succeeded in researching and manufacturing strategic weapons, producing 50 types of products across 10 high-tech weapon categories and cyber warfare systems. These systems have effectively supported training and combat readiness missions  for the armed forces. Gen. Cuong emphasized that Viettel must maintain its position as Vietnam’s leading enterprise in telecommunications and IT infrastructure, complete the mission of building digital infrastructure, and strive to be the core of the high-tech defense industry complex.

At the congress, Gen. Cuong also praised Nguyen Duc Tai, a technician at the Bac Me district station of the Viettel branch in Ha Giang province, for rescuing a child and helping authorities save four other people in a recent landslide in Bac Me district, Ha Giang province.
