The Border Guard Academy's troops joining blood donation drive
Accordingly, the academy’s staff and cadets donated nearly 600 units of blood.
This is an annual practical activity of the academy’s youth, aiming to raise public awareness of the meaning of blood donation and to mobilize more troops to join blood donation drives, said Senior Colonel Nguyen Ba Hoa, Deputy Director of the academy.
With the aim of preserving and promoting noble and charitable deeds in society, the Border Guard Academy’s troops have so far donated thousands of units of blood, contributing to easing blood shortage for patient treatments in local hospitals.
