The ceremony marked the 74th anniversary of the National Day (September 2) and the 50-year implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969 - 2019).
The construction of the memorial house began on May 19, 2018 on an area of 800 square meters inside the Memorial Complex for Martyrs of the service, in celebration of the 128th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - 2018).

Major sponsors for the construction were the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel), Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB), and other individuals and units.
After over a year of construction, the memorial house has been completed as scheduled. Notably, the well-furnished house displays images and documentaries of President Ho Chi Minh captured when he visited the service.

In the meantime, the ADAF Service also repaired its memorial complex to help further educate the national revolutionary tradition to generations of the ADAF Service’s troops as well as local people.
Addressing the event, General Dai expressed his thanks to the Ministry of National Defense, all sponsors, and other relevant organizations and units for their contributions to completing such a meaningful facility.

He also asked the ADAF Service’s affiliated units to maintain and preserve the memorial house and the memorial complex to serve troops and people who visit and pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and martyrs.
These sites will contribute to encouraging the service’s cadres and soldiers to well perform their assigned tasks, particularly in firmly protecting the national sovereignty over the skies, he concluded.
