Military unit in HCMC reviews task performance

Over the past year, the economic, political and social situations in Thu Duc city have been stable. The model of “City within a city” has posed difficulties for the armed forces of Thu Duc city. However, thanks to the high determination of the Military Command of Thu Duc city and the sound leadership and direction at all levels, the military command has achieved positive results in local military and defense work.

In addition, the unit has received the centralized, unified and direct leadership and direction of the HCMC Military Command and Party Committee, as well as the Thu Duc city’s authorities, in building all-people national defense and the whole people’s defense posture in combination with the whole people’s security posture, firm local defensive area, while mobilizing resources to build strong armed forces.

In the coming time, the Military Command of Thu Duc city will further promote the implementation of resolutions and documents of higher levels on directions, tasks and development mechanisms of Thu Duc city in the 2021-2025 period, towards 2030, striving to develop Thu Duc city into the first centrally-run “city within a city” of the country.

Meanwhile, in order to ensure combat readiness posture, the military command should work with relevant forces to address arising issues, contributing to maintaining local political security and social order.
