Over the past time, the administrative reform and digital transformation have consistently received close attention from the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, leadership and chains-of-command of agencies and units. Therefore, awareness and the quality of the implementation of the work have continued to see significant improvements.

The MND currently ranks at the top among ministries and sectors in terms of governance indicators and the quality of public and business services in the digital environment.
In the first six months of this year, the MND directed the timely implementation of directives from the Party Central Committee, the Government, the Prime Minister, and guidance from relevant ministries and sectors on administrative reform, administrative procedure control, Project No.06, and Resolution No.57/NQ-TW. Attentively, the MND has just launched and implemented the “Digital Literacy for Al” movement, to name but a few.

In his remarks, Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Huy Vinh required agencies and units to continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness of leadership, management, the quality of advisory and implementation work, dissemination, and training related to administrative reform and digital transformation.
Gen. Vinh also outlined eight key task groups in the time to come, including promoting dissemination to raise awareness of digital transformation; completing the system of legal documents to create a legal corridor for digital transformation; developing a synchronous and modern digital infrastructure to serve digital transformation; developing shared digital data and applications for digital transformation; building common digital platforms and services to establish a digital ecosystem within the MND; ensuring security and information safety in digital transformation; researching and applying scientific and technological advancements, focusing on the adoption of advanced technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution; and developing personnel and training human resources to meet the requirements of digital transformation.
