Military unit and Women's Union to enhance collaboration
PANO - The General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) of the Vietnam People’s Army and the Central Committee of Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) co-held a conference on November 29 to review their collaboration in the 2018-2022 period and sign the coordination program for the 2022-2027 period.

GDP Deputy Director Major General Nguyen Van Gau and VWU Chairwoman Ha Thi Nga co-chaired the event.
The conference was held via a virtual format and connected to 18 major units in the whole military.
The central report and opinions at the conference agreed that over the past five years, the cooperation programs between the two sides have been implemented comprehensively with practice results, making an important contribution to the completion of political tasks of all agencies, units and localities, as well as the good implementation of Party and political work in the military and the women's work in the current context.

Several outstanding outcomes are mobilizing troops and VWU members and all people to well implement the Party's guideline and the State's policies; strengthening the solidarity and closeness between military units and local agencies and socio-political organizations at all levels in developing economy, culture, society, as well as in hunger eradication and poverty reduction; preventing and overcoming consequences of natural disasters, maintaining socio-political stability, consolidating national defense and security, and firmly building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the new situation.
At the conference, leaders of the GDP and the VWU signed the coordination program for the 2022-2027 period, presented certificates of merit to outstanding collectives, units, and localities in implementing the collaboration programs between the two agencies.
