The GDP has embraced and seriously implemented directives of the defense ministry on developing e-government. Particularly, the general department has applied digital signature on document management software, deployed the military network email, used software for delivering information, and more.

Speaking at the meeting, General Vinh applauded achievements that the GDP gained in the administrative reform and e-government building over the past time.

He urged the organ to complete the structure for e-government development, enhance information dissemination for staff at all levels to raise their awareness and responsibility in e-government building in the military.

The GDP should promote the exploitation of shared software, especially the information system for directing, operating, managing documents and files and military emails while accelerating the exchange and reception of documents via the military network, attaching importance to deploying technical solutions to ensure security, information safety and security for computer networks of agencies and units, he added.
