Because of the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the steering committee implemented suitable measures for candidates who are able to go to military schools without high school diplomas. Meanwhile, the admission time is nearly a month longer than that of the previous years.
Reportedly, localities and military units handed over admission profiles to military schools before May 31, 2021. Military universities and academies have actively implemented the enrollment process ensuring quality of the recruited cadets.
On September 13, military schools received information from the Ministry of Education and Training and then discussed and agreed on the benchmarks to select candidates. On September 15, schools in the whole military enrolled candidates according to the numbers allowed by the MND’s Steering Committee on Military Enrollment and updated the list on the system of the Ministry of Education and Training. Before 5:00 p.m. of September 26, the candidates who have passed the entrance exam must submit their certificates to military schools want to enroll, while these schools should summon enrolled students. This year, more than 14,000 candidates nationwide registered for admission to 17 military schools.
Concluding the conference, General Cuong agreed on the enrollment plans of the schools and requested the Department of Military School Management to soon complete benchmark regulations for military schools and make public the list of successfully-enrolled students. Meanwhile, all newly-enrolled students should have their health checked up in line with COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.
Enrolled students should be present at their schools from October 8 to 15, 2021 to make all preparation for the start of the new academic year.
