Military schools have now extended military computer network infrastructure to all departments, faculties, and companies, while internet access has been provided to heads of offices, faculties, units, computer labs, and several academic divisions. They have effectively used systems and software deployed by the MND, while also developing their own digital tools to support training management and administration. Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien speaks at the conference reviewing the implementation of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation in education and training. |
The schools have actively carried out research projects, scientific tasks, technical initiatives, and improvements. Many valuable products have been applied directly to training and education activities at schools and units.
Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Hien said that agencies and units under the MND must continue supporting schools in ensuring information security and data protection, while improving the speed of the military data network. They were also instructed to help schools develop specialized and high-quality research groups, with continued focus on meeting the smart military school criteria.
Military schools were asked to clarify and implement tasks and solutions set out in higher-level resolutions and plans under the “six clear points” principle. They must also develop road-maps to move all activities to the digital environment and ensure that all instructors and education managers meet digital competency standards and can apply artificial intelligence to teaching and management. Regular training courses on information technology and digital transformation should also be organized for officers, instructors, and staff, alongside the centralized planning of server room systems.
