Military school, hospital hold blood donation drive
PANO - Nearly 300 youth union’s members, who are cadres, instructors, and cadets of the Tran Dai Nghia University, donated their blood in response to the voluntary blood donation drive launched on March 19 by the university and Military Hospital 175.
More blood units expected to be collected during the drive
The drive, part of activities in celebration of the 86th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931) and the Youth Month 2017, showed the voluntary and responsible spirit of the university’s youths and their noble deeds towards the community, particularly those who are in need of blood for their treatment.
Such a drive is organized regularly by the school’s Youth Union organization. Since 2009, nearly 2,500 blood units have been collected via those meaningful drives.
