According to Labor Hero Hoang Duc Thao, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Science and Technology Enterprises, the VPA has made outstanding contribution to science and technology and the defense industry, gradually mastering high technologies that serve national defense while generating strong spillover effects for civilian sectors. Military research institutions and enterprises have played a pioneering role in telecommunications, information technology, manufacturing, logistics, energy, and others, enhancing national competitiveness and promoting creative innovation ecosystem.

Noting higher requirements of Fatherland construction and defense amidst complicated and quick situational developments in the regional and the world, the official expressed his hope that the military would continue to prioritize modernization, digital transformation and mastery of core and strategic technologies, while strengthening cooperation with domestic and international science and technology enterprises and innovation centers.
Highlighting remarkable development of the military medical sector over the past four decades, Senior Colonel, Assoc. Prof., Dr., People’s Doctor Nguyen Kim Nu Hieu, former Deputy Director of Central Military Hospital 108, proudly said that the sector has a modernized system capable of mastering advanced medical techniques at regional and international levels. Military hospitals not only protect troops’ health, but also make important contribution to public healthcare, further strengthening the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers.

She underlined the military’s leading role in responding to natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic, demonstrating its high sense of responsibility, sacrifices and organizational capacity. She stressed that in the new period, continued investment in modern military medicine, high-quality human resources and digital transformation remains essential.
Meanwhile, lawyer Tran Van Duc, Director of Truong Sa Law Firm assessed that the VPA has consistently been a model force in strict law observance and discipline, contributing to political stability and social order, key foundations of a modern law-governed state. Its role in safeguarding the Constitution and national interests has created favorable conditions for effective law enforcement.
The military has also actively contributed to building and improving the legal framework on defense and security, while setting an exemplary standard in compliance with laws. In the future, it should continue adapting to new legal challenges, such as cyber security and non-traditional security.
According to teacher La Thi Thu Duyen from Hanoi-based Nguyen Trai Primary School, by safeguarding peace and stability, the military has made a silent but vital contribution to the development of education, enabling teachers and students to focus on teaching and learning. This is a long-term contribution to the country’s human resource development. Moreover, the military serves as a “great school” of revolutionary ideals, discipline and responsibility. The image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers provides vivid moral lessons for educating younger generations and shaping their character. She hoped for more cooperation between the military and education sector in the time ahead.
For resident Nguyen The Tuyen of Yen Dong commune, Ninh Binh province, the military has remained close to the people, especially farmers and fishermen, helping them feel secure in production and economic development, particularly those in rural, border and island areas.

Through defense-economic projects and timely support during natural disasters, the military has become a firm fulcrum for local communities. Farmers continue to place strong trust in the military’s role in protecting livelihoods and national sovereignty.
As a Youth Union member of Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi, Tran Nguyen Thu Tra said that the VPA plays a core and vanguard role in major political tasks, demonstrating discipline, professionalism and a strong spirit of serving the people. Personal participation in supporting military personnel during recent grand ceremonies of the nation has helped better understand this role.
Hoping that the military would continue to set an exemplary role for younger generations, Tra stressed that she herself and young people remain committed to learning, training and contributing alongside the military to build and defend the Fatherland.
