Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, led a General Staff mission to observe the exercise.

During the drill, an infantry battalion, provided with support firepower of the military region, attacked an enemy unit in defensive.

During the exercise, participating units closely coordinated and effectively carried out the combat plan. Attentively, the artillery, tank and air defense forces closely followed the enemy’s movements and successfully hit all of the important targets, thus creating favorable conditions for Regiment 9’s Battalion 6 to annihilate all of the remaining enemy targets.

The exercise concluded successfully while ensuring the absolute safety of participating troops and vehicles. It was a good chance for participating troops to apply their skills, including techno-tactical and commanding skills to real combat situations, contributing to fulfilling the units’ missions in the future.
