Especially, in recent years, the museum has applied 3D technology to introduce items and military historical relics, while boosting dissemination on mass media. Via the activities, visitors learn more about the cultural values of the nation and military, contributing to raising Vietnamese people and international friends’ awareness of the meaning and value of the Vietnam national resistance wars against foreign invaders.
At the conference, delegates discussed and shared experience and solutions to apply technology and digital transformation and scientific achievements in the military museum system.
On the occasion, many other meaningful activities were held such as offering incense to President Ho Chi Minh, visiting a branch of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in the Mekong River Delta and some museums and relic sites in Can Tho city and An Giang province.
Experience learnt from the conference and activities in the framework of the International Museum Day contributed to raising participants’ competence in this field, so as to promptly preserve and promote the value of Vietnam’s military cultural heritage in the current context.
