Military medical candidates reviewed for awards
PANO – The Award Council for Military Creative Youth in terms of military medicine had a meeting on April 17 to evaluate projects and initiatives participating in the 22nd Award in 2022.
The meeting was chaired by Chief of the Department of Military Medicine under the General Department of Logistics Major General Nguyen Xuan Kien.
The council included leaders of some military hospitals, representatives from the Department of Military Science, Military Youth Advisory Board and 32 participants representing 32 research groups with projects and initiatives selected out of a total of 55 entries to the program. They are from the Military Medical University; Central Military Hospital 108; Military Hospitals 4, 121, 105; the Military Preventive Medicine Institute, among others. More than 50% of the projects and initiatives are implemented by the Central Military Hospital 108.
During the meeting, the council heard 32 contestants introducing their projects and initiatives and commented on each of them.
After the meeting, the council selected 13 projects and 19 initiatives to submit to the Ministry of National Defense to decide winners of the award, including one first, two second, four third, six consolation prizes for outstanding projects, and two first, three second, five third, and nine consolation prizes for remarkable initiatives.
