The delegates also discussed preparations for the third ASEAN Military Medicine Conference in Vietnam next year.
A ceremony was also held at the teleconference to hand over the ASEAN Military Medicine Chair from Thailand to Vietnam. Accordingly, General Kien becomes President of the ASEAN Military Medicine Board of Directors.
During the event, the Vietnamese Military Medicine sector suggested to host a seminar for military medical forces in ASEAN member countries and its partners, titled “Cooperation in the future,” in May 2020 in Da Nang city.
