Military intelligence and reconnaissance troops in competition
PANO - The General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army opened the whole-army Military Intelligence and Reconnaissance Competition in 2018 on November 19 in the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hong Huong, Deputy Chief of the General Staff and head of the event’s organization panel.

This year’s event gathers nearly 500 officers and soldiers from 17 professional teams in the whole-army units to compete in various categories of intelligence and reconnaissance plans, military gun shooting, and other specialized subjects from Nov. 19 to 23.
The contest aims to evaluate combat readiness’ quality of troops as well as provide a good chance for them to promote their professional skills to meet the requirements of their future tasks.
Delivering his remarks, General Huong requested the jury board and contestants to thoroughly grasp the competition’s targets and regulations to make it a success while ensuring absolute safety for people, weapons and equipment.
