The senior officer spoke highly of the ministry’s great efforts and creativity in realizing policies on developing a contingent of teaching and educational management staff. He hoped that the ministry will have general solutions, make recommendations to the Party and State to issue suitable mechanisms and policies to foster teachers and educational management staff in general and those in the military in particular and confirmed the support from the Central Military Commission (CMC), the Ministry of National Defense (MND) and military schools.

For his part, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Kim Son wished that the CMC and MND will continue to pay attention to and stand side-by-side with the Ministry of Education and Training in effectively carrying out the Party and State’s policies on education and training in general and building of contingent of teaching and educational management staff in particular in line with the spirit that education is truly a top national policy.
* The same day, at a meeting held by the National Defense Academy under the chair of its Director Sr. Lt. Gen. Tran Viet Khoa, participants learnt that the academy’s instructors and educational management staff have constantly studied, improved their competence.

The school’s quality of training and scientific research has increased, meeting higher training requirements. To date, the academy has 552 doctors, 14 professors, 197 associate professors, two people’s teachers, 23 eminent teachers, and a number of leading experts known domestically and internationally.
* At its meeting presided over by Director Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Bao, the Military Political Academy honored generations of its teaching and educational management staff. A report delivered at the event confirmed that the academy’s staff have actively renovated training contents and methods. More good lessons and classes have been recorded. Many research works have had big influences.
In the coming time, the academy will focus on building a standardized, advanced, exemplary unit that deserves to be a leading training center for political cadres, social sciences and humanities researchers of the military and the country.
* Promoting its achievements gained over the past 74 years, the Military Medical University will continue to develop its contingent of instructors to meet the training renovation requirement; build plans and make preparation work for the training on preventive medicine at the university level in 2024 and training detachment-level commanding officers in 2025; make proposals on military medical research, application of medical advancements to diagnosis and treatment, among others.
* In the past academic year, the Air Defense - Air Force Academy paid attention to comprehensively implementing three breakthroughs in military schools, three breakthroughs of the Air Defense - Air Force Service’s Party Committee and Party Organization in the 2020-2025 tenure. Its instructors are always pro-active, creative, exemplary in teaching, doing scientific research and observing discipline.
At the meeting, the academy announced and handed over decisions to 34 good instructors at the grassroots level in 2023 and 17 good managers in 2023.
* Also on November 20, the Army Officer Training School No.1, Military Academy of Logistics, Military Technical Academy (MTA), Signal Technical College (under the Signal Corps) held meetings to celebrate the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day.
The MTA targets to be a leading research university in terms of science, techniques, and technology of Vietnam by 2030 while integrating with the system of regional and international universities, and making active contribution to the building of a revolutionary, standardized, elite and modernized military.
