Huge war-left bomb disposed
PANO - Sappers from the Kon Tum provincial Military Command successfully defused a huge bomb on April 2.

The bomb, 1.15m in length and 0.41m in diameter, weighs nearly 400kg and contains 170kg of explosive.
Muon Xuan Tuy of Kon Sut village, Dak Bla commune, Kon Tum province found this US-made bomb while digging soil to make bricks and informed local authorities and engineering force of the device.
Apart from this bomb, the sappers also defused several unexploded shells collected in the province over the past time.
