The military medical staff has on time provided first aid for, transported safely, and successfully treated many cases of serious illnesses, such as multi-injury, acute appendicitis with complications, acute pancreatitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, and acute cholecystitis, to name but a few.
Additionally, the Military Medical Department has proposed leaders of the Ministry of National Defense to dispatch 34 helicopter flights and hundreds of ships to transport patients ashore for further treatment.
The efficiency of the program has helped promote the civil-military medicine program in depth, brightening the image of Uncle Ho's medical soldiers with good medical ethics and excellent expertise.
