Mr. Tran Tuan Anh presenting Tet gifts to troops of the Lai Chau provincial Border Guard Command

Meanwhile, the command is making preparation to ensure a cozy Tet (lunar New Year) festival for troops. Particularly, the command has held border spring programs to grant thousands of gifts, worth more than VND 300 million, to local people in border areas of Lai Chau province.

Hailing the command’s achievements over the past time, Anh asked the unit to thoroughly grasp political and social situations in border areas, maintain combat readiness to deal with unexpecting issues in a timely manner.

The command should also promote mass mobilization activities for local people to beautify the image of Uncle Ho’s soldier and tighten the military-civilian ties while giving recommendations to higher levels to consolidate the all-people border defense posture within the all-people national defense posture associated with the people’s security disposition.
