The post is in charge of managing and protecting a 17km-long borderline in Son Vi commune, Meo Vac district, bordering Yunnan and Guangdong provinces of China, with a total number of 35 border markers.

On December 28, the post’s troops worked with local armed forces and youths to patrol the borderline, clear the ground along the patrol path, and check border markers from No.500 to No.504 in Lung Lan hamlet, Son Vi commune.

Major Nguyen Cong Son, Commanding Officer of the post, shared that this was a regular activity by the unit in order to firmly inspect the shared borderline and promptly deal with any violations.
