Lt. Gen. Nguyen Trong Binh speaks at the working session with the Khanh Hoa provincial Border Guard Command.

Addressing the working session, Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh underlined that this is the peak time to implement the Prime Minister’s direction to combating IUU fishing and remove "yellow card" of the European Commission for the country’s fisheries industry. He urged the provincial Border Guard Command and local functional agencies to drastically and synchronously take measures to combat the above-mentioned violation of seafood exploitation and management.

At the same time, local functional agencies should closely check any information related to countries having sea border with Vietnam, before submitting to higher levels.
