General Staff’s outstanding young faces honored
PANO – The Department of Politics of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army held a meeting on March 25 in Thach That district, Hanoi to honor outstanding young faces in 2018 and mark the 88th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
Of 11 honored people this year, ten cadres are from the General Staff and one from the Military Sports Center of the Department of Military Training.
The honoring program aims to encourage Youth Union members, to obtain more achievements.
At the meeting, all the honored expressed their hope to further receive support and care from leaders and commanders of their units and agencies and affirmed that their care and concern are encouragement for them in particular and young staff in general to gain more outstanding achievements in the coming time.
Congratulating the honored on their achievements, Senior Colonel Chu Van Doan affirmed that the outstanding young faces are bright examples for youths of the General Staff to follow. He asked staff agencies and units to promote political and ideological education for youths and create favorable conditions for them to effectively carry out emulation movements.
