General Staff inspects Southern units

Having an actual inspection and been briefed on the units’ task performance over the past time and their plans for 2022, General Thang applauded the units’ efforts in overcoming hardships and fulfilling all assigned tasks. He underlined that the units have promoted numerous solutions to improve training quality and combat readiness, while tightening the COVID-19 preventive measures.

Notably, the units have supported localities in the pandemic prevention and control, taken care of policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged families who were affected by the disease, he added.

The deputy chief of the General Staff required the units’ Party committees and chains of command to seriously implement major tasks of 2022, understand troops’ aspirations, ensure their physical health and spiritual life during the upcoming Tet (lunar New Year) festival.
