Defense ministry inspects training in central military units
PANO – A delegation of the Ministry of National Defense, led by Major General Thai Van Minh, Head of the Department of Military Training under the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, inspected training results of Regiment 24 of Division 10 of Army Corps 3 and Regiment 990 of the Kon Tum Provincial Military Command of Military Region 5 on December 4.
The delegation inspected comprehensively the training missions of the two units, focusing on training plans, military tactics, combat skills, troops' physical strength, political and ideological education, logistic and technical services.

The delegation applauded the efforts and responsibilities of the units in preparing for the inspection, stressing that they have embraced instructions and directives of higher levels on implementing military and defense tasks, observing military discipline and improving troops’ management.

General Minh required the units to continue to seriously implement Directive No.106 of the Ministry of National Defense on safe adaptation, flexibility and effective control of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, he urged the units to enhance political and ideological education for troops to build their morale, prepare for the year-end conference, and set training plans for the time to come.
