General Staff checks Border Post of Le Thanh International Border Gate
PANO - A delegation of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, led by its Deputy Chief Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, paid a working visit to the Border Post of Le Thanh International Border Gate under the Gia Lai provincial Border Guard Command on June 28.
The delegation includes leaders of Military Region 5 and the Vietnam Border Guard Command.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the outcomes of task performance of the border post in the first half of 2023, particularly the building of documents for combat readiness, the delivery of mission, the building of troops’ determination, and other contents.
Through the working session, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia recognized and highly appreciated the understanding and implementation of military-defense tasks of the border post.
The Deputy Chief of the General Staff requested that the unit should actively complete the system of combat documents; strictly maintain on-duty forces and vehicles; continue to practice combat plans; strengthen inspection and defense task; prepare adequate facilities, weapons and technical equipment to be ready to fight, not to be passive in any circumstances.
