The Party Committee and Command of Army Corps 3 led subordinate agencies and units in well-preparing for and organizing training activities according to the set programs. Efforts in regularity building and discipline observance have yielded good results. Effective implementation of Party and political work, strengthening political and ideological education, building political bravery for officers and soldiers, as well as conducting mass mobilization to help people reduce poverty and build close relationships with local units were highlighted. They ensured good logistics supply for the troops, maintained good conditions of technical equipment to meet the training and combat readiness requirements of the units.

In his speech, Minister Phan Van Giang praised the efforts and achievements of Army Corps 3 over the past time. He requested the Party Committee and Command of Army Corps 3 to continue thoroughly implementing and effectively executing the Party's guidelines and State's policies on military and defense tasks in the coming time. They should review the action plans 2024, promptly add newly arising missions, and decisively implement the assigned tasks. In addition, the army corps should regularly maintain strict combat readiness at all levels, closely coordinate with local authorities and relevant forces to keep a firm grasp on political security and social order in the area.

Additionally, General Phan Van Giang emphasized the simultaneous implementation of solutions to build an "elite, lean, and strong" army corps, coupled with breakthroughs to improve the quality of training and education, in line with the new functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the army corps. He stressed the importance of logistics and technical assurance as well as ensuring the health and living conditions of the troops.

The defense chief laid stress on the importance of developing a strong contingent of cadres and Party members. Leaders at all levels should demonstrate flexibility and effectiveness in crisis management, rationally manage personnel, prioritize training and combat readiness, and improve living conditions for officers and soldiers. Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of information dissemination and organization of meaningful activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam People's Army, the 35th anniversary of the Whole-People's Defense Festive Day, and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Army Corps 3 (March 26, 1975 - 2025).
